Please join us for the seventh annual Second Chance 5K Run/Walk at the Berwind-Wayside Festival Grounds in St. Michael, PA! This race is dedicated to the second chance at life that organ transplant recipients are given when they receive their transplant. Funds raised during the race and after party will support important awareness initiatives for organ, tissue, and cornea donation in the Western Pennsylvania region. 

Registration for the race is $25 for all ages 18 and up, and racers 17 and under are FREE! Runners who register during our early registration period will receive a race t-shirt as part of their entrance fee. Early registration will end at midnight on July 17th. Additional race t-shirts will be available to buy online or at the event for $15.

Additional Event Details:

• Medals for top 3 finishers across all categories

• All runners receive a gift bag

• $500 in Visa gift cards will be given out randomly to racers

• Additional door prizes will be given out after the race

• 50/50 raffles will be held throughout the event

• Food will be available to buy throughout the event from Rayne's Backyard BBQ

• Drinks and snacks available to buy throughout the event from The Tipsy Trotter food truck

Please join us for our inaugural Pinko Bingo event. This event will combine our mission of organ donation awareness with our support of finding a cure for breast cancer. The funds from this event will be split between a breast cancer focused organization and the Laurie Smith Memorial Scholarship.

The event will be held on Saturday, October 15th at the New Germany Grove Hall. Doors open at 4:30pm, dinner will be served from 5-6, and bingo and other games will start at 6. $30 tickets get you dinner from Smoke ‘Em Up BBQ, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), and your first bingo game.

Each bingo game will pay out $100 with a jackpot opportunity of $250. We will also have 50/50 drawings, pull tabs, door prizes, and more.

Funds raised during the race and after party will go to the Center for Organ Recovery and Education. CORE is the federally designated not-for-profit organ procurement organization in Western Pennsylvania that acts as the link between donors, healthcare professionals and recipients in delivering the gift of life through organ, tissue and cornea transplantation.

Registration starts at 9am and the race begins at 10am. Prizes for winners in several categories will be given and all runners will receive a gift bag upon completion of the race.

After finishing the race, please join us for an after party at the Berwind Wayside Festival grounds right beside the finish line, where we will have great food, beer, door prizes, 50/50, and raffle chances!

Admission is $110 per golfer and include green fees, cart, gift bag, and after party. The after party will be held in the downstairs room of the clubhouse and will include dinner, drinks, raffles, 50/50s, and door prizes!!

Golfers will have a chance to win prizes for hole-in-one, longest drive, longest putt, closest to the pin, and more throughout the tournament.

Proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Second Chance Fundraising scholarship fund.
